Hello Friend,
My name is Eric Park. I currently attend Gospel Life Mission Church in Anaheim, CA. I find joy in sharing that God has been so gracious and good in my life. One of the greatest, and yet very rewarding, challenges came when I went to India in the summer of 2009. There is a tremendous contrast between the world here and the one over there. The need for truth and light is dire. It allowed me to realize that I am so small in the bigger picture, and that this life is beyond my own self-interests. Again God has truly blessed me with an opportunity to go back to India, so that I may encourage and empower them with the Good News that Christ has given us freedom!
I will be going with Korean-American Campus Missions. This program embodies one of Christ’s profound mandates: the Great Commission. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19.
For the month of July, with a team of 14 other people, we will be focusing our ministry in the Northeastern region of India. This region has a very small concentration of church plants. So our vision for the trip is to facilitate and aid in the church-planting endeavor. We will be sharing the truth through the means of Vacation Bible Study, skits, teaching, and building relationships.
As I will probably face much spiritual battle, I am in great need of your prayers. Your prayers are essential and instrumental in making things possible. Your prayers will become a very powerful tool, which will make a major difference for myself, my team, and the people of India.
Please pray for:
a. Eric – that I may truly be used in everyway possible to bless the people of India and for the glory of His kingdom.
b. My Team – that we as a team may be a living sacrifice for each other, God’s Kingdom, and the people; also for health and safety.
c. India – For the Holy Spirit to move and prepare the people of India to respond to the gospel!
I need your prayers to have the heart to go, but I also need your help to have the means to go. Your financial assistance to help cover the $3,500.00 costwill be used to support our month long stay as well as training expenses. Your financial support will allow us to go to India, and your prayer support will make us effective there.
